My entire career has been spent working in news media. I worked as a picture editor for global news agency Reuters for almost 20 years where I initiated, refined and delivered fast, high-quality news, business and sports coverage, as well as entertainment pictures from around the world. Before Reuters I worked at The Financial Times international picture desk, embracing the crossover era that went from printing in the 'wet' photographic darkrooms of ‘Fleet Street, to the digital picture desks of the newsrooms that we know today. Image manipulation, montages, cutouts for newsprint became my daily tasks. I’m an Adobe Photoshop expert who remembers Photoshop 1.0 very well! Prior to that, I was a hand colour printer for a sports photographic agency and the club photographer for Queens Park Rangers FC. I have a degree in Photography and Multimedia from the University of Westminster in London. I am now happily settled in Tobago with my husband, former Reuters photographer Piotr Andrews, who I sometimes partner with on my web design work.

The process
I will work closely with you to discuss your website needs, then custom design concepts to present for review throughout the process. We can then work to finalise the concepts based on your feedback, and once satisfied, launch your site! I also will provide in-person or phone training to show you how easy it will be to manage your site, add photos, change text, etc., so you can take the website and run with it.
I am
and proficiently, are user-friendly, correctly optimized for search engines (SEO), and work well on both mobile and desktop computers. I don't cut corners, and I'm very reliable having had a successful career in news picture editing and photojournalism. I can be contacted easily and regularly throughout the design process. My clients are always happy with my work, and they know they can rely on me for help should they ever have questions or further needs with their website projects.
